The SwissBCQ has been invited by the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SCDL) to sign an MoU for mutual support and promotion of its activities as part of their community engagement program.
The MoU was signed by our President Dr. Fariborz Samadian during a Sohour event attended by our Ambassador H.E. Etienne Thévoz and the Vice-President of the SwissBCQ, Urs Straub. Along the SwissBCQ, Belgium, Ghana and Jordan signed the MoU adding now to the total of 31 resident communities of Qatar who have signed the MoU with the SC.
Among other representatives of various communities in Qatar, dignitaries and the Ambassadors of Belgium, Philippines, Ghana and South Africa, the SCDL members, Mr. Nasser Al Khater, Assistant Secretary General, Tournament Operations and Mr. Khalid Al-Jumaily, Community Engagement Manager gave an update on the current status of the community engagement program of the SCDL.
The SwissBCQ being now official participant of the community engagement program, will be involved and informed of the various activities in the forefront of the WC2022 preparations are taking place thus we will keep you posted on them so that the Swiss community can also be heard and engaged.
