Saint Nicholas Event hosted by H.E. Etienne Thévoz and his wife Ambar Thévoz together with the SwissBCQ
The Swiss Ambassador H.E. Mr Etienne Thévoz and his wife Mrs. Ambar Thévoz hosted, together with the Swiss Business Council in Qatar, the Swiss Business and Swiss Citizen Community, in their official Residence to celebrate the start of Christmas festivities and visit of Saint Nicholas.
The event was attended by close to 100 families who enjoyed the various activities taken place. Music was provided by a Swiss folklore music group which flew in from Engelberg for the event. Among others and in particular the kids enjoyed the magician show and cookie decoration station which was provided by Mövenpick Hotel West Bay. The highlight of the event was however the visit of Santa who conveyed important messages to the kids before giving them small “Samichlaus” goodie bags.
The event concluded with a raffle where Swiss products were given away as well as 50,000 miles sponsored by Qatar Airways.
