LEX LLC was previously operating as LALIVE In Qatar LLC. It is licensed by the Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA).
It was incorporated back in August 2006 and was the first law firm from the European Continent to establish in Qatar to offer legal services for Qatari and international clients. Initially established as a Limited Liability Partnership, it has converted to a Limited Liability Company (LLC) in 2011. In 2019, it has rebranded to LEX LLC.
The firm provides full advisory and dispute resolution services relating to all aspects of domestic and international commercial transactions. Relevant industries include corporate, mergers and acquisitions, commercial, immigration and employment, banking and finance, energy, information technology and telecommunications, construction and infrastructure, transportation, commodities, sport facilities etc. Clients comprise States and public entities, multinational corporations, small and medium sized companies as well as individuals from Qatar and abroad.
