The SwissBCQ hosted at the Residence of H.E. Swiss Ambassador Mr. Martin Aeschbacher a farewell party for the exiting Ambassador and his wife Mrs. Elisabeth Aeschbacher.
H.E. Mr. Martin Aeschbacher was appointed Ambassador of Switzerland in Qatar in 2012 after spending close to 30 years in the diplomatic service. One of his first tasks upon arriving in Qatar was to open the Diplomatic representation office for Qatar. After a successful opening of the Swiss Embassy in West Bay Lagoon and strengthening of the relations between Switzerland and Qatar, H.E. Martin Aeschbacher will retire and move back to Switzerland, not before making a stop in Morocco.
The farewell party was attended by members of the SwissBCQ, Swiss and Qatari business community and close friends to the H.E. the Ambassador. Presents and well wishes were handed over to the Ambassador and his wife.
The party enjoyed the presence of over 80 attendees which celebrated with the Ambassador until well past midnight.
